Support Earth Hour

"Earth Hour in the Mind of 3 Years Old"

I was a bit surprised that our 3-year-old son, Rap shrieked when he saw the gigantic cut-out Styrofoam-board of 60 inside SM Mall Davao last week. He shouted, "ah! Mom, please take a picture of me on Earth Hour!". My husband and I were wondering how this little 3-year old knew about the Earth hour. He even recited, "Let's support Earth hour on March 26, 2011 from 8:30 to 9:30 pm...".. Huh? I know we have lots of button pins of Earth Hour last year, because the Dole Mountaineering Club sponsored the local Earth Hour campaign last year. But he's too young at that time to remember.

But when went back to our hotel, he hurriedly grabbed the TV remote control and watched. Nickelodeon. That's when we realize how he had known the complete details of this year's  Earth Hour campaign.

Earth Hour is About...

It's not about you, nor me... It's all about the place we live in.Let's support Earth Hour. If you wanted your future kids to live and enjoy same (or wishing to be better) Earth as we have now? ~The Making Of A Mother ~

~The Making Of A Mother ~
inspiring mother stories

By the time the Lord made mothers, He was into the sixth day working overtime.  An Angel  appeared and said "Why are you spending so much  time on this one?"

And the Lord answered and  said, "Have you read the spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not elastic; have 200 movable parts, all replaceable; run on black coffee and leftovers; have a lap that can hold three children at one time and that disappears when she stands up; have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart; and have six pairs of hands."

The Angel was astounded at the requirements for this one. "Six pairs of hands! No way!"  said the Angel.

The Lord replied, "Oh, it's not the hands that are the problem.  It's the three pairs of eyes that mothers must have!"

"And that's on the standard model?" the Angel asked.

The Lord nodded in agreement, "Yep, one pair of eyes are to see through the closed door as she asks her children what they are doing even though she already knows. Another pair in the back of her head are to see what she needs to know even though no one thinks she can. And the third pair are here in the front of her head.  They are for looking at an errant child and saying that she understands and loves him or her without even saying a single word."

The Angel tried to stop the Lord  "This is too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish."

"But I can't!" The Lord protested, "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself  when she is sick AND can feed a family of six on a pound of hamburger and can get a nine year old to stand in the shower."

The Angel moved closer and touched the woman, "But you have made her so soft, Lord."

"She is soft," the Lord agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?" asked the Angel.

The Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason, and negotiate."

The Angel then noticed something and reached out and touched the woman's cheek. "Oops, it looks like You have a leak with this model. I told You that You were trying to put too much into  this one."

"That's not a leak." the Lord objected.  "That's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the Angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her disappointment, her pain, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride."

The Angel was impressed.  "You are a genius, Lord.  You thought of everything for this one.  You even created the tear!"

The Lord looked at the Angel and smiled and said, "I'm afraid you are wrong again.  I created the woman, but she created the tear!"

Thanks Sir Jef (Minandang) for passing the story to me... I kind of appreciate more being a woman and a mom! = )

I will miss you po and the KCC family...

A Young Modern Hero

Hero is often associated with "Superheros" like Superman, Spider-man,  or if you are less of masculine you might think of Wonder-woman (or if your a Filipino most likely Darna will pop up your expectantly, lol). But we have real life heroes like those humanly and real life men who literally saves life like our fearless firemen, brave protectors soldiers, peace loving policeman, dedicated teachers, and if your a Filipino you will probably expect on the list: well, OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) who work hard abroad just to send money to their love ones back in the Philippines.

Just yesterday, I read a news on yahoo about an Australian boy named Jordan Rice who unselfishly prioritized his brothers safety versus his own life. During the massive flood on Australia, the two brothers were rescued by a team but the boy asked the rescuers to save his younger brother first before him. But it was too late before it's his turn to be saved. What's so amazing and unbelievable is that according to Jordan's family, he has great fear of  water. He does not know how to swim at all. But despite of his own weakness and fear he conquered it over his love. His family explains that they could not imagine how troublesome and tragic Jordan went through while drowning to death.

Blake, his brother must probably remember his brother's selfless act through his life.

Jordan Rice, 13-year-old Australian boy a tragic-hero

Jordan, wherever your are; you are an inspiration. I know that your have a good life now with God; I wonder what would make the world if all people were selfless as you?

Ideal Chruch

Ask yourself the question if "you would run"
after you read
this!!!

Imagine this happening to you...

One Sunday morning during service, a 2,000
member congregation
was
surprised
to see two men enter, both covered from
head
to toe in black and carrying
submachine guns.

One of the men proclaimed,

"Anyone willing to take a bullet for Christ

remain
where you are."

Immediately, the choir fled...

the deacons fled...

and most of the congregation fled....

Out of the 2,000 there only

remained around 20.

The man who had spoken took off his hood...

He then looked at the preacher and
said "Okay

Pastor, I got rid of all the

hypocrites...
Now you may begin your service.
Have a nice
day!"

And the two men turned and walked out.

Random Thoughts

Well, well, well... It's been so long since I posted my weird and none sense thoughts  = )

Yesterday was a nice day! Actually, the happiness still lingers with me until now.
I actually did a good job at work. Finally, I felt a bit of satisfaction with my boss' approval with the program that I did. I thank my Lord for giving me enough knowledge and wisdom for that. i wouldn't do it without my Big Boss' help. Thank God!

And there are more million reasons why I am grateful of my God! This is just one of them.

Plus, God finally answered our prayers for Rap's nanny. Good thing God perfectly provided a nanny of our same faith. We are hoping we'll all get along with her well. Now, I am missing Daisy (Rap's former sitter). We're excited to bring  Rap here at Polomolok again! Our neighbors also misses Rap too!

*********************************************************************************

Another thanksgiving, Dolefil Mountaineering Club's climb at Philippine's highest peak, Mt. Apo, was a success! As I've heard from my hubbyness, who organized the event, all of them enjoyed and treasured every breath taking scenery of Mt. Apo. Good thing, that after he fell of about 12 feet during the climb, Lito Lapid is still alive and kicking. We all feared for his shoulder bones to have been fractured (knowing it may be a penalty of not attending Thanks Giving At our Church, only me and Rap was there ), God is still good enough to protect dad.

Too Early for Work!

Haha! I am the earliest bird here in the office. I can get all the worms, literally? Laugh. Well, good time to start the day with thanksgiving to the ultimate creator. Silence

************************************************************************

I asked God to bless my brother and talk to him. I hope god will give my brother a new direction in life. A straight one. Please, Lord, I beg, give him opportunity to have a good life, new work to be busy again and to be able to finish college. Please, please speak to him that he must have a dream.... and 'pwede pasuyo Lord isama mo na rin sa transformation ng buhay nya ang pagiging malinis sa katawan, gamit at kwarto? Please...

Amen.

He is My King... Who's yours?

I heard this song over and over again on radio many times while I was riding' on a public van going to work. The song was a bit jumpy and nice to hear, a good sound to hear on a busy and on a hurry morning. But as the song goes a long, I was a bit hesitant to sing a long with it.. The words are bothering.... The lyrics goes like , "who made you king of anything... who died and...." something like that. In my opinion, the lyrics is some kind of a slander to my faith. The songs talks a bout someone who pursuits a person in making things right, but the song disagrees with whoever this person and addressed the person as a self proclaimed king and savior. I don't know what the real message the composer or maybe the singer is addressing the lyrics at but I find it too blasphemous. So when I arrived at work, I searched through the internet who the singer is. She's Sarah Bareilles, raised from a Catholic family. I am just wondering (since we share same faith) did she ever thought reading the lyrics first before including it in her album? Though she may have no  intention to degrade our  religion (or was it my religion?), as a responsible artist she may have selected the songs she sings and produce (yes, she is also a producer).

To those who were also offended by her song please pass...
To Sarah, if ever you had a chance to read this: you lost one fan... Please do not mock my God...
To those who share same sentiments with me, please pass...

Petition for an Atheist Holiday

FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLY DAY

In Florida , an atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and  Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring  a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their  holy days.

The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized  days. The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel  declaring, "Case dismissed!"

The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor,  How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays."

The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant ."

The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."

The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned."

You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture!

God Isn't True?!

I just wanted to share a forwarded story that's so interesting.. If in one unexpected moment you were caught asking "Is God true?". Of course being a Christian you would totally reply without a second thought that God is really true. But if you were asked how would you know that someone ultimately powerful above all things exists? How? I was caught on this impromptu question not just once but twice! When I was still taking up my BS Biology course in Mindanao State University, well, being in a university whom are predominantly populated by our Muslim brothers (well, in my own opinion that Muslims and Christians are believing on the same God -- just of different savior, i think. Their Allah is my Allah too but my savior is My Jesus Christ).... Going back to my point (were was I? hahaha!) I have a math professor who is so vocal about his belief, that God does not exist. He thinks that people who believe in our so-called God are freaks, dumb and illogical. As I observed it became a past time and a pleasure for him of interrupting our class lectures by questioning the existence of my God. Being an active member of a Christian club in our university, he asked me about the authenticity of my God and how my Jesus did differ from other religions' Bathala, Manalo India's Krishna, and among other gods. Realizing that I was put in an instance that I am not prepared and helpless, I reasoned to him weaponless. Even I quoted few verses from the Bible about God's existence, but it seems my atheist professor (whom is infamously notorious for his strictness, high-IQ, education and career achievement) more looked at my belief of lesser value. All I thought that time was I wasn't able to win a battle for my Christ. I was helpless. Until I read the story below. Now, If were asked again about my God, I am now pretty sure that aside from my firm faith, and powerful prayer that I can delight my God by proving His existence, at least I have now a possible clever and witty answer to answer anybody who questions my God's existence.

                                  INTERESTING CONVERSATION

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, the Almighty. He asks one of his new Christian students to stand and.....

Professor: You are a Christian, aren't you, son?
Student : Yes, sir.
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student : Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student : Yes.
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student :Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student : No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student : From...God...
Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student : Yes.
Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.
Prof: So who created evil?

(Student does not answer.)

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student :Yes, sir.
Prof: So, who created them?

(Student has no answer.)

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student : No , sir.
Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student : Yes.
Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student : No sir. There isn't.

(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that  death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)
Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class is in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's Intellect?

(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's Intelligence, felt it, touched or smelt it?.....No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no intelligence, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student : That is it sir.. The link between man & god is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

Precious Art

Here is another forwarded mail I read today, hope you'll enjoy. I don't know if this is really a true story, but it's a nice representation of God's unconditional love. Very touching.. God speed, read it by heart...

                                    My Son, Take my Son
A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.
When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.
About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door.
A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands. He said, "Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art." The young man held out this package. "I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this."
The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by  the  young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. "Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift."
The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.
The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.

On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. "We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?"
               There was silence.
Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, "We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one."
But the auctioneer persisted. "Will somebody bid for this painting. Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?"
Another voice angrily.. "We didn't come to see this painting. We came to
see the Van Goghs, the Rembrandts. Get on with the real bids!"
But still the auctioneer continued. "The son! The son! Who'll take the son?"
Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. "I'll give $10 for the painting." Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.
"We have $10, who will bid $20?"
"Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters."
"$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?"
The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son. They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.
The auctioneer pounded the gavel. "Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!"
A man sitting on the second row shouted, "Now let's get on with the collection!"
The auctioneer laid down his gavel. "I'm sorry, the auction is over."
            "What about the paintings?"
"I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.
The man who took the son gets everything!"
God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: "The son, the son, who'll take the son?"
Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHO SO EVER BELIEVE, SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE...THAT'S LOVE (John 3:16)
                                                                God Bless.

You Cannot Mock God

Here's another interesting forwarded message I received few years ago that may let you have goosebumbs. Stories which may testify that God is real!

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death!
Make a personal reflection about this.....
Very interesting, read until the end.....

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man soweth,
that shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women who mocked God :

John Lennon (Singer):

Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine,he said:
"Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain.
Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, Today we are more famous than Him" (1966).

Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made

President, then he died .

Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):

During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ), while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: "God, that's for you."
He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.

The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said: "Not even God can sink it"

The result:

I think you all know what happened to the Titanic .

Marilyn Monroe (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said:
"I don't need your Jesus".

A week later, she was found dead in her apartment .

Bon Scott (Singer)

The ex-vocalist. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:"Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell".
On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit .

Campinas (IN 2005)

In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend.....

The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car:

"My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You.."

She responded: "Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here.....It's Already Full "

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal  accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact.
The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken .

Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer)

said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written. m In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle .

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive

                                                                          "Jesus"

Special Letter

I don't know who is original person who wrote this one up, may be it may had really happen, Since I saw articles about this incident using "google search". I fisrt read it through an forwarded mail by a friend about 7 or 10 years ago now. 'Hope you enjoyed reading, though I suggest you have to prepare a handkerchief to wipe out those tears.

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?' The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.' Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'
The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university.' Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said, ' Mom , I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom .' She went on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.'

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:

'Dear Mom ,

I Know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You'. I will always love you, Mom , even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom ? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me t o give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'where was He when I needed him?' 'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom , no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore the cancer is all gone.. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

A Heart's Request

I am not a fanatic listener of DZAS online broadcast over the net but my husband usually opens it so while I was checking on my friendster account and writing my blog at www.discovermindanao.blogspot.com (which I do simultaneously. that's the magic of multi-tasking bro! haha!)...

'been listening to music they played there. This song struck me and I realized that the words in the lyrics perfectly fits what I wanted now and what I do feel now. So I hurriedly searched the lyrics for this Brian McKnight song.

Here it is...

HOME

by Brian McKnight

Ooh
Thinking back when we first met
I remember what you said
You said you'd never leave me, yeah
I let go oh of you hand
Built my castle in the sand
But now I'm reaching out again
And I'm not letting go till you

Hold me, mold me
Sometimes I feel so all alone, hmm
See I gotta find my way back home
So why don't you
Shape me, make me, wash me whiter than the snow
I gotta find my way back home

Master upon my knees I pray
I just wanna be the clay
Hmm put your arms around me, yeah
Place my life in your hands
Lord I know I'm just a man
Know you understand
This time I'm not letting go, till you

Anoint me, appoint me
Sometimes I feel so all alone, oh
See I gotta find my way back home
So why don't you
Chastise me, baptize me
Wash me whiter than the snow
I gotta find my way..

Cause I'm lost and alone
I've been wandering long enough to know
Humbly I search for you
And I'm not gonna rest till you

Choose me, use me
Sometimes I feel so all alone
I am on my way back home
So why don't you
Direct me, bless me
Wash me whiter than the snow
I am on my way back home
